Bellagio opened in 1998 and at that time was the most expensive hotel ever built at $1.6 billion. A new tower expansion construction project started in April 2003 and completed in December 2004 that adds another 925 rooms. The hotel features many must-see attractions: the Fountains of Bellagio, the Conservatory, and the Gallery of Fine Art. The Via Bellagio shops include names such as Gucci, Chanel, Prada, Armani and more. Bellagio offers standard guest rooms and several types of suites that range from 850 to over 2000 square feet.
