Rate Vegas

Stayed at NYNY last March and really enjoyed it. We flew in from Heathrow, so you can imagine how tired my husband and I were when we arrived. Used the check-in facility at the airport, which was nice. Got to the hotel - took ages to actually find our room. Until you get used to the place, it can be pretty confusing. We booked online using a promotion, and the only way you get the promotional vouchers is at the front desk - they don't give them out at the airport! Had to trek back downstairs and get in line to get them - a bit of a pain. Room service was really good - I was dying for some decent Pastrami (doesn't exist in the UK) and loved what I got. When your currency is the Pound, anything in dollars is great value! Rooms were cleaned regularly. We were right by the rollercoaster. You could hear it, but just barely. Plus, it ran from about 11 - 11, pretty reasonable by my standards and was actually pretty easy to sleep to. The beds were mega comfy - if I could have put that in my bag and brought it back to the UK I would have! Didn't really gamble much as we're too chicken for tables. Played the slots a bit, met some interesting people, ate loads. Would definately stay at NYNY again once I've experienced some more hotels. Going back late August. Staying one week at Carriage House (1 br suite - it was free!) and five nights at the new & improved TI. Can't wait.
