Best hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. I’ve stayed there six times since 2004 and have always been impressed with the level of service, the suites, the casino, and the staff. While our last stay there was a little less enjoyable – from a very rude bellhop to a disappearing waiter in the Cafe Bellagio -we found that management was very approachable and friendly. If you choose to stay there you will experience a level of service you won’t get anywhere else in Vegas. I’ve stayed at other properties but we ALWAYS return to Bellagio.

They are very arrogant and not very friendly at all. You can’t even ask for the directions to your seat.
Most of them are rude and will most likely brush you off.

Service was tops, the room was nice and clean and the casino was willing to let me win just long enough to keep me interested.

I stayed at the Bellagio almost 3 years ago and perhaps things have changed. The casino itself is beautiful and has a most pleasant atmosphere. The standard room was what I would call comtemporary dreary and it’s decor does not stay with the overall theme of the hotel. The bathroom was very nice, but still quite contemporary. Things may have changed since I stayed there. They could do so much to improve the room decor.

I go to Vegas 4+ times a year, and have stayed at most of the strip hotels. Everytime I do not stay at the Bellagio (I like to try new ones out), I find myself saying “I have to go back to the Bellagio.” I consider myself to have high expectations, and the staff at the Bellagio does not fail to impress. I’ve stayed in every type of room they have, from the standard, to their penthouse suites and the villas. No matter where you are, staff treats you like a high roller, no matter if you are, or are not.
Next time I go, I will most definitely be returning.

I stayed at the Bellagio for 8 nights in March 2007. WE payed for the Bellagio Suite and asked for an upgrade to fountain view and received it at no cost, just a nice tip.
THe Bellagio was one of our finest hotel experiences we have ever had. We were treated like royalty by the entire staff. The loaction could not be beat, the suite was the finest we have ever stayed in and the fountain shows were spectacular. The pool was great and the spa was fantastic. Yes very expensive but great. As far as the hotel, staff and restaurants everything was a 10.
The casino was big and well ventilated. We did not win and the machines seemed tight as no one was winning anything when we were there, but I don’t hold the hotel responsible for that. Plenty of tables available and a fun sportsbook area.
If the $$ is not an issue then this is THE place to be. If the $$ is an issue, don’t stay here but writing bad reviews because of the $$ spent isn’t fair.
We love this place.

Hello all. Hope this review helps everyone. We just stayed at the Bellagio 10/1 – 10/8th. I cannot complain about anything.
The one thing I will tell everyone is if possible, book a Bellagio Suite or Penthouse suite. This package comes with VIP service – limo to and from airport, VIP check in, discounted limo service during your trip, front of the line TAXI service, and front of the line for the buffet and cafe. Believe me, without this service this trip could have been a nightmare.
Example: Every day/night the buffet and cafe lines were extremely long. Our VIP line was less than two minutes. Also, the cab lines were wrapped around the side buidling, where as we were escorted directly to the next cab. We used the discounted limo service twice for our return trip BACK to the hotel. These services made the trip more enjoyable.
The pool area was very relaxing with practically NO children. We saw maybe two to three children on our three trips to the pool. If you want an Adult type of atmosphere, this is where you should be staying. It is not children friendly – such as Circus Circus and the other casinos that push for families.
Our Penthouse room was fabulous. We had the fountain view, and I was there for many of the shows (morning/night). It was so different viewing from the room. My husband had no interest in the fountains, but I thought it was definitely worth it. Also, it is so nice to stay in the bedroom at night, with the drapes open, veiwing all the night lights. If you can afford it, go for it. But again, it depends on you personally.

If the Bellagio isn’t the very best hotel in town it is one of the top two or three. It certainly has the best pool area. Everything is first rate, however, the quality of the buffet has fallen of late. The buffet is no better than average for the strip, yet it is the most expensive.

Clearly the most luxurious resort in Vegas! When I checked in, I was automatically upgraded to one of their “Tower Deluxe” rooms in the Spa Tower. It was truly an amazing room… About the size of Wynn’s complete a HUGE bathroom with a view and fabulously expensive furnishings. The entire resort has that “grande-dame” feel to it. I personally do not feel as if MGM Mirage has ruined the feel of Bellagio. The service is still just as efficient and caring; the pool’s ambiance was mesmerizing. Tried many restaurants, Sensi and Picasso being my favorites. Overall, a GREAT stay – Already booked another stay for February. (This time, I’m trying the penthouse)

Ate dinner at Circo and Sensi and loved both of them. After staying at the Wynn, it was good to see the Bellagio getting even better. I would much prefer to stay at Bellagio and not a hotel that looks like a copy inside at the Wynn

This hotel has great ameneties and is a beautiful property. Unfortunately the service at the front desk, group desk, etc, is way below the facility’s stature.
After leading a group visit, I would never stay at this hotel again. Not only were the problems extensive and in one case even outrageous; they only netted a token form letter response from management and only after a lengthy complaint process. I would expect better from any 3 star hotel. How they got a 5 diamond award with their service problems is a mystery.
In fairness to their other staff, the restaurant staff was very good and, aside from taking furnishings from my room to give to someone else, housekeeping was satisfactory.

In all my years, I have NEVER EVER went to a room in Las Vegas and it has been dirty. We were told to go out and they would send someone to clean it. By 9 p.m.—five hours later, it was finally cleaned and de-smoked! Everyone at the hotel constantly watches you and you are constantly warned that if you take something—an insult to my upbrining as I was taught not to steal….that it will be added to your hotel bill. The room is just like almost any other. You get a wetbar that they overcharge for anyway, so if you like the convenience then its okay. The bathroom was actually very nice. I rated the rooms so low because for the price you pay they aren’t worth it. Me and my boyfriend payed nearly $1200 for the five days we were and the only thing special was seeing the fountain shows from our room, which we can see from the ground for free. The bathroom was nice sized the separate tub for soaking was nice. Our service was nice. My boyfriend celebrated his b-day while we were out there so I asked if they did anything. I got a gift certicate for their men’s cologne and womens perfume (1 OZ). I could get a small cake sent up for $30 or so. I decided to get some chocolate covered strawberries in a chocolate bowl on a plate that they wrote happy birthday in chocolate. Almost $35 dollars for 5 Strawberries. Also dont touch anything in the wet bar unless u want to pay for it. Everythings is on censors, it’s moved, you are charged for it. Pretty much everything is expensive, there is nothing special about it. We stayed at the Luxor and the MGM got jaccuzi’s and still payed less.

This was our first stay at the Bellagio. It’s beautiful, but a little lacking with meal selections, so many of the restaurants there are quite expensive. Our room was very nice, but no complimentary coffee in the room. We found all the staff at the Bellagio (casino + room personnel) to be outstanding, very helpful, very friendly, and accomodating. Some of the other casino’s have more variety in their indoor malls, Bellagio strictly caters to the very rich, and it’s because of that, along with the other things I’ve mentioned that we’d probably stay elsewhere next time.

My wife and I recently satyed at The Bellagio. Although it is a nice hotel, it is not worth the extra money paid. I have stayed at multiple hotels on the Las Vegas strip, and as far as the room, and the bed, The Bellagio is about the same as staying at New York, New York, the Luxor, or Treasure Island. If you feel like you need to stay there once, then, feel free to spend the extra money, but, above that, then you are just wasting your money, and feel like you need to use it as a status symbol.
I heard that the staff really caters to the guest, I found this to be untrue. The staff was no more friendly then those at other hotels we visited while on the trip. That’s not to say they weren’t nice, because they were, it’s just there was nothing above and beyond which is what one might expect for staying at the only 5 star hotel on the strip.
The turndown service was nice, except it wasn’t consistent. The first night we were there, they came at 5:30, the next night we were out of the room, the following night, they didn’t come at all, and on our last night, they were knocking on the door at 11:15 when we were already asleep.
The food at the Bellagio is good, just expensive like everything else in the hotel, when one pays $15 for two cups of coffee and 2 muffins, it makes it seem a bit overpriced. The buffett is really good, but, a person can visit the buffet without staying at the hotel.
As for gambling, it is more fun to gamble at other hotels because in a way, it seems more quiet and stuffy at The Bellagio then other hotels on the strip.
Overall, I would say, if you feel like you need to stay at the Bellagio just to say you’ve stayed there, then, have fun, otherwise, stay at another hotel, spend less money and walk through the Bellagio just to see what it’s like.

Date Visited: 02/03 – Bad Visit
We were in Las Vegas to get married and my work wanted to buy tickets to O. They had to purchase gift certificates (which they were told were refundable if there was a problem booking tickets). The show was sold out for the week we were there. When my boss tried to cancel the tickets she was told she couldnt do that. My husband and I went to pick up the gift certificates and they were lost. We got told by the first concierge that it was his shift change (after he helped us for about 15 mins) and he just pointed to another concierge to finish with us. She asked us if we were guests of the hotel. ( we were not) she left us standing there for 45 mins while she helped the guests of the establishment. She lied to the business office and then finally found our certificates. We took 1.5 hours out of our day just to get gift certificates. When we complained to the players club (which a pit boss told us to do) they said the manager of the consierge desk was the same girl that was rude at the business office.
We were treated rudely and like trailer trash. I will NEVER step foot in that low class snobby place agian. Go to any other hotel on the strip if you want to be treated like a human being.

The reality is that Bellagio is not the “best hotel” in the world. However, it is one of the most impressive places I have been to. The best part is that there are no kids running around; it’s a place of luxury and elegance. People are right when they say service isn’t the best, but it’s because they want to provide the an elegant atmosphere for their guests. It’s good that they filter out those rude and snotty people because it makes the stay more enjoyable. Bellagio has it’s flaws, but it’s overall a great hotel. If you’re low on money, it’s better to go to a more affordable hotel, but if you have the funds, Bellagio is the place to stay!

From the front desk to the restaurant staff to the housekeepers, everyone was unfailingly polite, courteous, and helpful. The level of service exceeded our expectations – and for $300/night, we expected a lot. One of the crowning moments was during a wedding photo shoot with a Bellagio photographer we hired to take pictures of us on the grounds. For the last photos, he wanted to take pictures of us on the balcony overlooking the dancing fountains, with the Eiffel Tower lit up behind us. As we waited for the next water show to start, my husband mentioned that he hoped for a particular song to be next in the lineup. The photographer used his cell phone to call the control booth, asked to have the lineup changed so that “our” song would be next, and had them start the show right away. It was moments like these, when the staff when out of their way to make our stay memorable, that we realized why the Bellagio is called the “Crown Jewel of Vegas”.

Interesting to know who must have come in to our room and showered and slept while we were away. Eventually a very put out manager of some sort came to our room with fresh towels, but that was the most service that was available. Another great stay at Bellagio. The pool area is less interesting than at the Mirage or Mandalay Bay but it suits the style of the resort.
As always the staff was very friendly and accomodating.

This is a fantastic hotel. I can’t see any change in service since MGM bought the company. I’ll keep coming back…

Overall If ou stay in a standard room they are just the same as any hotel room… not great service but ok. On the other hand if you stay in a Penthouse suite (I did 3 times for 5 days each!!!) They treat you like a King and Queen… And the rooms are amazing ask for a lake view possible corner room :) The Girls bathroom has a hot tub. yes they have a girls bathroom, a boys bathroom and a guest bathroom!!! If you get the one with a lake view and in the corner the Girls bathroom has a veiw of the strip from her hot tub. I give the Penthouse package 10+

This is by far the finest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Steve Wynn
