Stayed 2 nights in May 06 for first time. I was blown away at the size of this place. We were not given a room with a view but the rooms were nice, the beds very comfortable and nice bathroom. The courtyard is beautiful along with Mystic Falls. I really enjoyed the old western feel of the store fronts. I only tried 2 of the restaurants but the steak and eggs at the Cafe was delicious and cheap. Great selections of slots but I didn’t find any loose ones. The drink service leaves a lot to be desired because they only have a couple of waitresses per shift. They have an extensive shuttle service that will take you to different hotels on the strip and also downtown. I would stay there again.

We have stayed at Sam’s Town more than once, but this July was the worst. We requested a non-smoking room, and got a smoking room. Also, the toilet didn’t work, and we didn’t have any hot water. The hotel staff was not very accommodating. We even had to wait over 2 hours to get into our room!! We do not plan on staying there again or recommending it to our friends.

We visit Sam’s Town at least twice a year and have always had a good experience. Our last trip was in July and all went well except for the assistance to help catch a cab. The valet crew were NOT helpful in that respect and after waiting over 45 minutes, we caught the shuttle out to the strip and then caught a cab to the airport!. There were other people waiting for cabs also and they were there over an hr..so valet is not very helpful. But over all the inside staff and atmosphere is great and we plan to return in the future.

We’ve been going to Vegas 4 times a year for the last 15 years and we consider Sam’s Town our favorite locals casino/hotel. Always our first choice for rooms. Expecially like the bathrooms. The employees are tops.

Went to Sam’s Town 3 days to get away from the Downtown area where I stayed. Free bus shuttle to Sam’ Town was great. I thoroughly enjoyed the casino and would consider staying there on my next trip to Vegas. The buffet was great.

Went to Sam’s Town on Wednesday March 25th on the Harrah’s bus. Very nice place to spend the afternoon, slots were paying off well. That is, a 20 lasted me a few hours. At the Flamingo they lasted 15 minutes. Sam’s was much more laid back than the Strip casino’s. I would consider spending whole time there.

For the past 8 years Sam’s Town is the only place we stay now when we go to Vegas. Its like going home. Everyone is so friendly there and its really comfortable. When you don’t want to run all over its a great place to just hang out as there are so many things to do there. Besides the casino action, they have bingo, bowling, movie theatre and a showroom. I know their old pool was great but have not checked out the new one yet. Only down thing I can say is they got rid of the best western store :( and their old buffet was a lot better than the new one. But all in all its the only place for us.

We stayed at Sam’s from July 14th to July 18th. We chose Sam’s because we wanted to be able to get away from the action of the strip as needed. Sam’s has several shuttle buses that run all day to the strip and downtown. The rooms are pretty nice. They have pay-per view movies and you can access your account from the TV as well. We never had to wait for more than a few seconds for an elevator and there were no long lines for the valet, bellhop, check in/out, or even the restaurants. Sam’s is a good place to stay if you don’t want to be in the middle of all the action all the time.

In November my wife and I stayed at Sams Town for the 4th time in the past two years. We mentioned while checking in that we were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and received congrats by our slot card window all that day. Nice touch. Sams is a warm friendly place that makes you feel like you are coming home whenever you visit the strip and return by their free shuttle buses. Prices are great on rooms and dining and the entire staff is friendly and ready to help at any time. After staying several years on the strip, we feel that we’ve found the best kept secret in town when we found Sams Town. We’ll continue to stay there on all future visits.

Nice spot, if you like action but can’t stand the strip. Has a small pool area but is done up really nice. Rooms were extreamly clean and well kept through out our five day stay. Extreamly friendly staff and great food at a good value. Went to strip via their shuttle buses. Beat having to drive & only 10 minutes away.
Will be back for a trip I have planed in Oct.
