Food was remarkably good. Service was slow, every time we went – and I am talking about 8 or more times.
But the price – THAT is WORTH THE WAIT.
Better still – use the coupons on the slot club book.
Try the buffet for breakfast -$5 for 2 with coupon from the slot book.

Be prepared to – 1)wait for someone to take your drink order 2) wait for someone else to take your food order….
this said, if you expect this, you should not have a problem – great little cafe with reasonably price food, always well prepared, if not fancy – great graveyard bkfst. specials, good $4.95 weekday chinese lunch specials – large menu covers a lot of types of food.
Low players club redemption values for food items in cafe – coupons books available monthly at players club- include offers for free bottle of wine with entree in cafe coupon, $3 off entree (up to 4) coupon, and more. The buffet coupon says two for one, but they honor it for one person at half price (at least at breakfast)
Also, understand that they do not do orders to go – you must order your food and then ask for a to go container for it – they do not have/provide plasticware for you to eat the food – but they do supply to go containers cheerfully.
Cafe can be busy at prime dining times, there may be a wait.
Skip the buffet – go to the cafe.

The Bougainvillea Cafe is a wonderful place to eat. I have never ordered anything there that wasn’t delicious. We have never stayed at Terrible’s but go out of our way to go the the Bougainvillea for a least one meal while we’re in Las Vegas. The prime rib is awesome. You must try this great coffee shop.

Best value for really GOOD food in Vegas. Nothing fancy on the menu, but when you want a good meal at a good price (and you can redeem your slots points for most anything on the menu!), you can’t beat this place! Most times you get more than you can handle at a sitting, do ask for a “doggie bag” for the leftovers – they will happily oblige! Staff very friendly and geniunely appear to LIKE where they work and what they do. Only complaint – after order is placed it takes quite a while to get the food. This has occurred on more than one occasion to us on two different trips to Vegas.
