An average restaurant with “hype” that pushes the price into the twilight zone

Best Service we have had anywhere, anytime in our 24 years we have been married. Food was outstanding, and they bent over backwards to accomadate wifes special diet needs. One of the most expensive meals we ever had, but was worth every penny. If you are looking for a great place to celebrate an aniversary, this is it, as they will make your wife will feel like she is the most important lady there.

Our group of 8 was accomadated without any problem. Some of us ordered the Nobhill Tasting of Classics. Every few minutes the waiter would come by with something new for us to try, all were very good. Avocado Alexis was wonderful as was the tomato soup This meal came with the Beef Rossini, which was almost as large as the main entree Beef Rossini. We also ordered the Hors d’oevres sampler, the shrip were excellent. I would give a higher rating to service except the MGM Grand had a strolling photographer who asked us to have a photo. One person said ‘No’ the another said ‘yes’ so we had the photo taken. It was awkward and not a very nice photo. The photographer should have known not to take a photo in front of glass windows, not Nobhills fault. If you eat here be aware that the if you order the sampler you will have several dishes brought to you over a period of time while those who order just entrees will have to wait (Their loss , actually!) We didn’t drink that much , only 2 bottles of wine
and a few cocktails the billl came to $620. Well worth it

If you are into fine dining this is one restaurant you need to go to. Simply amazing. From the fresh bread to the bay scallop and ravioli appetizer, to the roasted rock cod entre to the made from scratch bannanas foster souffle this place never failed to impress. It was pricey, the final tally on three apps, three entres and three desserts with drinks and tip equaled $250 but I would eat here again in a heartbeat.
