Had dinner here on Friday the 8th of Feb. Since we had a party of 10 I had called several days in advance and secured a reservation. When we arrived at 7:45 for our 8:00 PM reservation, all we could see was a long line in front of the hostess booth. There didn’t appear to be any other way to the booth but the line so we waited in the line for about 10 minutes. Since the line had not moved at all in that time, I worked my way through the “maze” of the retail store and approached the hostess. I saw a sign that had an arrow pointed at the line and said “walk ins” as well as another sign (without any arrows) that said “reservations”. I asked a hostess where I was supposed to stand if I had a reservation and she pointed at the line and said, “right here”. I then asked those in line if they had a reservation and they all said “no”, so I asked my question again to the hostess. She then said we could be seated immediately and led me to some tables in the bar area that she started pushing together. When I observed that the waterfall affect behind the seats was splashing water on the seats and there was a puddle forming on three of our seats, she said she’d wipe it up for me…I then pointed out that the water was splashing on the seat and it would just get wet again (along with those of us lucky enough to sit there) she said ”...so do you not want these seats? If you give these up it will be another 45 minutes to an hour before we can seat you…” I told her that I just wanted to be seated where we wouldn’t be doused with water and received only a blank stare in response so I asked to talk to a manager.
When the manager arrived, she immediately fixed the situation. She seated us in the main restarant (I assume by mixing tables from different sections because all night we had food runners try to deliver other people’s food to us) and explained that they never should have tried to seat us in the bar since we had a reservation.
Dinner was good and very plentiful In fact, several of us split the entrees…at no additional charge… and still had food left over when we were done.
Our server was very friendly and prompt. We all shared the ice cream volcano cake and had plenty between the 10 of us.
One of the appetizers we ordered was not ever delivered so I asked the waiter to remove it from the bill. he appologized and said he would when he took my credit card. Assuming he had done so, I paid the tab and added a bit more tip (they had already added 18% since we had a party of 10). Later, when we got back to our hotel, I was a bit ticked when I realize that the waiter never actually removed the $9.75 from the bill and I failed to scrub the final copy after he brought back my card.
I decided that life was too short to go back and fight for my $9.75….but I’ll probably not go back.
It was a good place to bring kids to but it is just a bit too loud and busy for adults.

We came here for a late night meal (probably around 11pm) and were seated for about 20 minutes before out waiter arrived to take the drink order. Once he took it, we didn’t see him for another 20 minutes so we left. Because of this, I have no idea how the food is, but the service is a nightmare!

The place is a bit loud and service at the tables is hit or miss, really depends on the server. It’s not great, but a heck of a lot better than paying 3x’s the price for “pretty” food at those other restaurants that are invading Vegas.
It’s just good old comfort food. Hint: For a quick bite, order the appetizer plate at the bar. It will fill you up and get you on your way.

This place was something our daughter looked foreward to visiting for a long time. What a MAJOR disappointment it turned out to be for all. The restaurant was 1/2 empty but we had to wait over an hour for a table. Our orders were finally taken 1/2 hour later and the food was brought out about another 40 minutes later. The vegetables I ordered turned out to be a pile of “rinds”. Nice scenery, but EXTREMELY poor service and food. STAY AWAY !!!!!!!

In our 5 days at the MGM, we ate 3 meals here. mmm. My hubby had the shrimp fettuchini (sp) each time. We went 1 time for the dessert called the Volcano. mmmm. It feeds 3 – 4 people. I took quite a few pictures inside this restaurant as it’s full of animals (not real except for the fish). Us your receipt to receive a 15% discount in their store.

The food here is good. It took forever for anyone to take our order and also they stuck us in a dark corner. I recommend eating here just to say you have but the service is horrible.

We had a lovely lunch here… we have no kids so felt it was a little over the top theme-wise, however the families who were in at the same time really seemed to enjoy it. I opted for a waffle with all the trimmings – not a big portion, but when you’ve stuffed yourself at the Luxor buffet for breakfast you don’t need much!! My boyfriend chose the Pizza Pie which was delicious. Service was very good and the staff very attentive. Food took a while to arrive, but the waitress was very apologetic and gave us free drinks by way of apology. Nice, for a light lunch and a good gimmick for young kids.

Worth going to, just for fun. The food was decent but a little overpriced and the service was mediocre. The rainstorms were very cool.

Can we say “Over Board!” Some body did not know how to say stop. The service was equal to a Jr.High lunch lady.

I had a terrible breakfast here. I was the only person in my section and I stil waited at every stage. When I did finally get the food, it was under cooked and just generally poor. I will NOT be returning here. Ever.

Great to bring the kids to, but if you don’t have them with you, skip it. Very kitchy, everytime we’ve been, all the wait-staff has this attitude problem (even the ones that aren’t in Vegas!). Food is decent, but over-priced. Specialty drinks are really good. Go experience it at least once.

The people are cool, and so is the atmosphere. Come on where else can you be in a thunderstorm inside? Wierd bar.

This place use to be one of our favorites. Took our daughter in October—I will never go back. The prices went up & the food was not very good.

This place used to be fantastic!! I went out of my way to take some first-timers to experience the food and atmosphere. I will never go back. The prices were higher, and the food was worse. The service was average, similar to a waffle house dennys, etc…

The food was very good & the view was spectacular. We happened to get a very lousy waitress but that can happen anyplace.

Food was ok but it was such a nice to see. Ask for a table upstairs…great view of the place….Overall it was a very nice experience that you don’t want to miss. If nothing else stop in for a dring in the interesting bar at the front and walk thru to see everything in there.
